The South West team
Client Advisors are responsible for looking after your wealth management needs, from helping to decide your overall wealth strategy through to advising on issues such as investment products and pension planning. As well as being your main contact at UBS Wealth Management, he or she will also be your gateway to the wider expertise of UBS, should you need specialist advice from our mortgage solutions team or help with selling your business, for instance.
Lloyd is a Client Advisor for the South West and Wales. He is responsible for managing investment, compliance and financial planning needs for individuals and their families. Prior to joining UBS in 2012, Lloyd worked at Lloyds Private Banking for 24 years where he was responsible for running a bespoke service centred in Bristol. Lloyd is a Chartered Wealth Manager. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing with his wife and two daughters and watching rugby.
Matt has been providing wealth management and financial advisory services to his clients for over 20 years. Matt is a Chartered Wealth Manager, with the skills, qualifications and experience to meet the diverse and dynamic needs of his clients—from comprehensive financial plans, to assistance with more specific objectives related to investing, lending, multi-generational and wealth preservation planning. Matt is an Economics graduate from Swansea University, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning with the Personal Finance Society and the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Matt and his wife live in Newport, South Wales and have three children.
Matt has been advising UHNW clients for over 15 years both in the UK and Middle East. He has spent the last 10 years as Director, Wealth Manager at Coutts & Co, with a particular focus on developing client relationships in Dorset and the surrounding region. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and specialises in investments, lending, and next generation planning.
Matt is a Governor of Milton Abbey School, Dorset and in his spare time enjoys skiing, travel, rugby and supporting Southampton FC. He lives near Wimborne, Dorset with his wife and 3 children.
Financial Planners work as specialists alongside your UBS client advisor, providing bespoke financial planning advice. A team of Paraplanners and Administrators support our Financial Planners to efficiently execute this advice and, provide you with excellent client service, as well as access to other UBS resources. These resources can range from investment management to estate planning and corporate finance advice, in addition to specific wealth management products and services.
Julian joined UBS in 2012 and specialises in advising individuals and their families on personal financial planning, retirement and estate planning as well as tax-efficient investing and life assurance needs. He has worked in the UK financial services industry for over 30 years and has previously advised clients at financial institutions such as Coutts & Co, Credit Suisse and at Close Brothers Asset Management. Julian was one of the first advisers in the industry to be awarded Chartered Financial Planner status in 2005 and holds Fellowships with the Personal Finance Society, the Pensions Management Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Client Advisor Assistants
Client Advisor Assistants are an integral member of the team who will provide you with most of your day-to-day administrative support including payments, transfers and trades.
Sunjeet joined UBS in 2011 as a client advisor assistant for the Leeds Office. In 2012, she moved back to London to support the Southern Team. Prior to working at UBS Sunjeet worked as a foreign exchange dealer for Raphaels Bank. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and over 10 years' experience within the financial sector.
Alex joined UBS in September 2014 after completing his A-Levels. He graduated from the first UBS Wealth Management UK Apprenticeship Scheme in September 2016. He has previously worked in the investment bank at Morgan Stanley. He holds the Investment Operations Certificate and the Investment Advice Diploma.
