August Hatecke was appointed Head of UBS Wealth Management South East Asia in April 2016. August previously served as UBS Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office Switzerland based in Zurich where he was responsible for managing the needs of wealthy clients in Switzerland.
August started his career with the Investment Banking arm of SBC O’Connor Warburg Dillon Read (the fore-runner to UBS) in 1994 before moving to Private Banking where he was working on Active Advisory, Portfolio Management, Treasury and Execution. He was with Credit Suisse AG for the period 2001-2010 where he headed teams in Private Banking Switzerland, Investment Services and Products as well as Trading and Sales. Since returning to UBS in 2010, he has been responsible for the Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office business for UBS Switzerland AG.
August holds a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Zurich.

Alicia Chan

Alicia is a wealth planner for the North Asia market at UBS AG Singapore. Alicia is a lawyer and accountant by training, and possesses more than 8 years of experience advising Ultra High Net Worth clients and their families on their wealth planning and succession matters.
Prior to joining UBS, Alicia worked at a leading international law firm as a tax advisor, advising multinational companies and Ultra High Net Worth clients on their tax structuring and succession planning matters. Alicia possesses strong knowledge of wealth planning issues in China, Taiwan and South East Asia.

Sundeep Gantori, CFA

Sundeep Gantori is the equity analyst responsible for the global technology sector and Taiwan equity market. He also manages Asia ex Japan Focus 20 list, the region's highest conviction ideas.
Sundeep joined UBS in February 2007 and his coverage mainly focuses on global technology sector including semiconductors, hardware, internet and software & services. Additionally, Sundeep is also responsible for managing Taiwan equities and Asia ex Japan's Focus 20 list, a selection of highest conviction stocks from CIO's country and thematic equity preference lists (EPLs in the region. Before joining UBS, Sundeep worked as an equity analyst in PCS Securities, an Indian brokerage firm where he was covering the Indian IT & Telecom Sectors.
Sundeep graduated in commerce from Osmania University, India with a gold medal and is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Gaurang Bhatia

Gaurang is part of a very small equities specialist team in charge of tactical ideas. Gaurang focusses on US Europe and ASEAN. Before joining Wealth Management in 2014, Gaurang was institutional equity sales (Singapore specialist) at UBS WM and prior to that a research analyst also at UBS, covering Singapore listed commodity names, marine & offshore names and also select mid-caps.
Gaurang has received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Bombay followed by MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai.

Wayne Gordon

Wayne is responsible for CIO’s strategy and investment recommendations on commodities, specializing in agriculture and precious metal markets. He is also responsible for the CIO view on Australia and New Zealand in the area of economics, interest rates and FX. Wayne is a key speaker in communicating the UBS house view across industry conferences and the media.
Before joining UBS, Wayne worked as a portfolio strategist at Merricks Capital in Australia, co-managing a proprietary long-short agricultural commodities fund. Prior to that, he was the head of agricultural research at UBS Investment Bank, based in New York. His focus was on proprietary trading, index products and corporate risk management strategies. Wayne has also held positions at Rabobank International as a senior Strategist, and the Australian Federal Treasury as a senior economist.
Wayne holds a master’s degree in economics from the Australian National University as well as an honors degree in economics and finance from the University of Adelaide, majoring in econometrics and mathematics.

Henry Hirzel

Henry is an independent advisor to families around the globe on family strategies, family business succession and the establishment and professionalization of family offices. He focuses on all aspects of family wealth (family, business, financial & social capital) and how to preserve it over generations.
Henry was the former global head of UBS Family Advisory and Senior Advisor – Family, Business and Wealth. He has more than 30 years of investment banking and wealth management experience in Zurich, Tokyo, London and Hong Kong. His views are published in numerous publications globally, including International Herald Tribune, CampdenFB and Hong Kong Economic Times.
Henry holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich with a thesis on Management Consulting in Swiss Law.

Paul Kewene-Hite

Paul has decades of work experience with start-ups, major technology companies, investment capital, consulting, and government initiatives. He has successfully worked in every corner of a technology company from answering the telephone and emails in technical support to finance to sales and business development to CEO.
He was a Technology Evangelist at Apple, and Director of Strategic Planning and New Business Development at NEC Computers. He was a venture capitalist and has served as VP, President and CEO of technology startups. In addition to launching and building technology companies around the world, he has restructured and turned around companies, and he has built strategic plans for government initiatives.
At INSEAD he is an Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise based in Singapore. He teaches on all of INSEAD’s campuses for all programs including: MBA, GEMBA (Global Executive MBA), TIEMBA (Tsinghua INSEAD Executive MBA), and Executive Education. He continues to consult to companies around the world.
Paul is a graduate of Harvard University. He is married and has three children. He is a native English speaker, he can speak/read/write Thai, he is conversational in American Sign Language (ASL), and he has basic communication skills in a few other languages.

Eric Landolt

Eric is the Head of UBS’ Family Advisory practice in Asia Pacific. He is an expert in advising families on questions relating to family continuity and legacy and together with his team, advises Ultra High Net Worth Families on Family Governance and Family Office matters.
As a Family Governance specialist with over a decade of experience, he supports his clients in the design and implementation of their bespoke family governance framework, including strategies for inter-generational successions, family business transitions and the writing of family constitutions.
As a Family Office Advisor, he helps entrepreneurs and business families to set up their own Family Office with activities ranging from design of green field Family Office ventures to reviews of existing arrangements. Eric has been with UBS since 2002 and has gained in-depth experience and cultural exposure through positions in Zurich, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Eric holds a Master of Arts with a major in Finance from University of St. Gallen, Switzerland's leading Business School. He is a Member of the Family Firm Institute, Boston, Massachusetts and a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Nichol Ng

Nichol Ng co-founded The Food Bank Singapore (www.foodbank.sg), which aims to be the prevailing centralised coordinating organisation for all food donations, in 2012.
She is also President of ONE Singapore which is dedicated to raising awareness and taking concrete actions to make poverty history.
For her mission to collect surplus food in the market and distribute to organisations and people in need of food., Nichol was named as one of the 10 honourees in The Peak magazine’s The Peak Power List 2016.
A food aficionado since young, she is Managing Director of FoodXervices Inc Pte Ltd, a leading food distributor in Singapore. Nichol took over the family business and re-branded the company in May 2007. She is also Managing Director of sister companies GroXers Inc Pte Ltd, PlotX Inc Pte Ltd, LogiXtics Inc Pte Ltd, and X Properties Inc Pte Ltd. Nichol graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences with majors in Economics and Japanese Studies.

Paul Stefansson

Paul has over 30 years of investment experience as an actuary, analyst, portfolio manager and wealth manager. He joined UBS in 2006 in Products and Services Consulting and was most recently Head of Investment Funds, Hedge Funds and Private Equity for Hong Kong and Singapore. From 2001 to 2006, Paul was the CEO of ipac financial planning, a subsidiary of AXA.
Paul graduated from the University of Manitoba in Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), was a Certified Financial Planner, was a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and was a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
He has been featured on Channel News Asia, CNBC, The Straits Times, and Business Times.

Susan Sy

Susan is the Head of Philanthropy, South East Asia. She has over a decade of experience in the area of philanthropy, partnership development, grant making and project management. In her role as Philanthropy advisor, she assists Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families realize their philanthropic aspirations. She advises clients on strategic giving, structuring legacy vehicles and maximizing impact through philanthropic giving and investments.
Susan holds a Master of Business Administration from Henry B Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, USA and a Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.

Tan Teck Leng, CFA

Teck Leng joined UBS Singapore as a Forex Analyst in September 2010, with a primary focus on Asian currencies. Teck Leng started his career at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation in the Fixed Income Department, as a Market Risk & Operations analyst. He also worked at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ in the FX sales team, advising corporate clients on FX hedging strategies. Prior to joining UBS, he worked at HSBC Singapore as a currency specialist, advising mass-affluent clients on FX investments.
Teck Leng holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a bachelor's honours degree in Banking & Finance from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Kelvin Tay

Kelvin is the Regional Chief Investment officer, Southern APAC at UBS Chief Investment Office WM in Singapore. Kelvin is a member of the UBS Global Emerging Markets Investment Committee, as well as the Asia Investment Committee where he provides strategic research and inputs to the investment and asset allocation process.
Kelvin joined UBS Wealth Management in April 2006 as a deputy head of P&S Consulting for Southeast Asia, where he helped clients structure investment portfolios based on asset allocation. Prior to joining UBS, Kelvin worked at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management (Asia) as the Asian & European Equity Strategist responsible for Asian & European equity selection. From 2002 to 2004, Kelvin was a Regional Telecoms Analyst with JPMorgan Chase where he was consistently one of the top 3 rated regional telecoms analysts in surveys including those of AsiaMoney and Institutional Investor. From 2000 to 2002, he was also a Regional Telecoms Analyst with ABN AMRO (Asia) Ltd in Hong Kong, where he was ranked No.3 in AsiaMoney's Asia-wide regional telecoms analyst survey in 2001 and his team was ranked No. 1 in the 2000 Greenwich survey.
Kelvin received his MBA from Imperial College, University of London in 1999. He also holds a Bachelor of Social Science and Bachelor of Arts from National University of Singapore.

Aaron Yeoh

As the Co-founder and CEO of ETCH Empathy, Aaron is responsible for the organization’s strategy development, research, and implementation of Simulation workshops. He is a Community Partner for the National Youth Council’s Youth Corp Singapore Program. In addition to his role as the Internship supervisor for students from the Institute of Higher Learning, Aaron is also the Lead Facilitator for Service Learning and Design Thinking Methodology workshops.
Aaron’s first attempt with humanitarian calling was in 2004, when the tsunami hit Asia. In 2009, he was given the opportunity to lead his first International Service-Learning (ISL) expedition, under National Youth Council’s Youth Expedition Project (YEP). It proved to be a life changing event and was a steep learning curve for him. Undaunted by his 2009 experience, he again led teams for YEP in 2010, 2013 and from 2015 till now. From the overseas exposure, Aaron began to realize the true meaning of a sustainable humanitarian work, which is the ability to empathize, learn and work collectively with local communities or beneficiaries towards their aspirations and dreams. He set up a Non-Profit Social Enterprise, Etch Empathy, with a mission to cultivate empathy and a vision of a world without poverty.

Zhang Tingjun

The youngest Executive Director and first woman to helm Mercy Relief in its 13 year history, Tingjun was formerly the Co-Founder and Director of The Chain Reaction Project (TCRP), a non-profit organization recognized by the President's Office as one of Singapore's leading social enterprises. In addition, Tingjun serves as a Council Member in the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), engaging policy makers, academics and government leaders in dialogue on issues related to humanitarian work, youth engagement, and cross-sector collaboration.
Tingjun is regularly invited to share her perspectives at forums and speaking opportunities such as TEDx, Women in Leadership Summit and the Responsible Business Forum. She was trained as a broadcast journalist and news producer with Channel NewsAsia, a leading cable news network in Southeast Asia. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology.
