Climate risk is no longer a matter of debate – with polar temperatures hitting record high and the latest scientific research underscoring the imminence of irreversible shifts, it is clear that we are racing against the clock. Systemic action is required from every sector and everyone, and the global financial industry is at the core of enabling and funding this action.

As a founding member of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, UBS continues to lead and collaborate with the best in the industry to push boundaries and fulfill our purpose of “Reimagining the power of investing. Connecting people for a better world.” It is our role at UBS to support our clients’ rising need to adapt to, and capture transition risks and opportunities. In 2021, we delivered a 78% growth in global sustainability focused and impact investing assets, and facilitated 103 green and sustainability bond transactions, as examples of this work.

Riding on the success of our inaugural APAC Sustainable Finance Conference last year, this year we are proud to feature trailblazers and gamechangers in global decarbonization efforts, focusing on action, impact delivery and innovative systems thinking to solve sustainability bottlenecks.
