Bahnhofstrasse corner Pelikanstrasse
Move into the new building Pelikanstrasse 9/11 corner Nüschelerstrasse in July / August. Start of construction, extension and conversion work of Bahnhofstrasse 51 / Pelikanstr. 3/5 (second stage): new building has a triple basement and plans commence for two drive-in counters (entrance Pelikanstrasse).

Addition of another storey in Bahnhofstrasse 45 to incorporating dining rooms as well as meeting rooms for the board of directors. Start of new construction of Pelikanstr. 9/11 corner Nüschelerstrasse.

Move into Münzhof
New building Münzhof is ready to be moved in on June 2. Union Bank of Switzerland pays CHF 3,700,000 to building cooperative for what later became its headquarters.
