The backbone of the newly refurbished UBS headquarters is a spiral staircase with a glass elevator in its center. The staircase is flooded with light and extends all the way from the lower level up to the fourth floor where you can see Zurich's skyline. The special elevator system is a minimalist structure made of highly polished steel. The walls of the elevator cars are made from a wafer-thin piece of 0.7 millimeter-wide Carrara marble slotted between two layers of glass. Thanks to this, visitors can enjoy a unique experience and still have privacy.

Our craftsmanship trilogy
This video is the third and last of our trilogy. It shows how dedicated everybody involved in this project has been and how sophisticated some parts of the refurbishment were. You'll find the links to the two other videos above (Decorative molding and Terrazzo floor).
