Kiev

Ukraine’s historic capital on the Dnipro river survived a revolution in the past decade, but has reemerged culturally vibrant. Today its top attractions and concrete soviet blocks are mixed with urban art, hip cafes and a buzzing nightlife. While Kyiv is Ukraine’s largest and most important city, it also has regional significance as the scientific, educational and cultural center of Eastern Europe.
