Johannesburg

South Africa’s largest city, commonly known as Jo’burg, has been undergoing rapid change, with new office and apartment developments springing up across it. Set high on a plateau at an elevation of 1,753 meters, Johannesburg is a mix of roads, high and low rises, and an abundance of trees. History has shaped this city in many ways – from the discovery of gold deposits to the still-evident legacy of Apartheid – but Johannesburg seems determined to march into a modern future.
