"By offering free photography workshops and additional learning opportunities - the exhibition served not to only inspire, but empower people from diverse backgrounds... By providing participants and audiences, in particular women, with the authority and opportunity to witness and document their own stories, I know we are moving towards a more equitable and socially engaged arts community and world."

Mark Lubell, Executive Director,
International Center of Photography, New York

"WOMEN: New Portraits was a beautiful example of diversity and the power of those who fall under the broad and fluid umbrella of 'woman'. Each portrait was more telling than the last, with a narrative beautifully captured."

Meredith Shine, SVA BFA Photography and Video student
