Notifications

You can set up push, SMS and e-mail notifications via UBS Mobile Banking. 

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Open the menu and click 'Push notifications'
  2. Log in using your Access Card 
  3. Add new rules under 'Manage rules'.

Touch ID, Fingerprint and Password Login

Password/Touch ID/Fingerprint login allows you limited access to your account, without having the need to login in with your Access Card. These logins are only available on Mobile Banking. Some of the features include quotes, CIO and investment views.

Yes, password login is available for all mobile devices. If your device has the Touch ID / Fingerprint service, you will be able to login using Touch ID / Fingerprint.

You can set or change your password in UBS e-banking or UBS Mobile Banking.

Via E-Banking

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Login to E-Banking and select Settings > User profile.

2. Select Password > Set password, enter your new password and re-enter your new password.

3. Confirm using your Access Card or Card Reader. Switch on your Access Card by pressing and holding the POWER button or insert your Access Card into the Card Reader. Enter your PIN and press 'OK' to activate your card.

4. On your Access Card or Card Reader, enter the six-digit auto-generated input code displayed on your computer.

5. A security code will be auto-generated on your Access Card or Card Reader. Enter this code on your computer.

6. Click 'Set password'.

Via Mobile Banking

Simply follow these steps:

  1. After logging in, select 'Settings'
  2. On the Settings page, select 'Password'
  3. Select 'Set' 
  4. Tap 'New password' to create your new password. Password must be between 7 and 32 characters and it must include at least three of the following:
    Upper-case letters (A-Z), lower-case letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) or special characters.
  5. Tap 'Repeat password' and retype your new password.
  6. Switch on your Access Card by pressing and holding the POWER button or insert your Access Card into the Card Reader. Enter your PIN and press 'OK' to activate your card.
  7. On your Access Card or Card Reader, enter the six-digit auto-generated input code displayed on your mobile.
  8. A security code will be auto-generated on your Access Card or Card Reader. Enter this code on your mobile.
  9. Tap 'Set password'.
    Note: Your new password will also apply for login to UBS Quotes on E-Banking.

Password must be between 7 and 32 characters. It must include at least three of the following:

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Launch the Mobile Banking app.
  2. Enter your Contract Number, tap ‘Method’ and select ‘Password’
  3. Enter the password that was previously set up.

Touch ID is available on supported iPhones, iPads and Android phones. To set up Touch ID/Fingerprint, please ensure your password is set up and your phone is Touch ID enabled before you proceed.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Launch UBS Mobile Banking app and enter contract number.
  2. Tap 'Method' > 'Touch ID' > 'Login'.
  3. Read terms and conditions and select 'Yes'.
  4. Enter contract number and password.
  5. Tap 'Confirm'.

You have successfully set up Touch ID.
