UBS Advisor Messaging

UBS Advisor Messaging offers a direct and convenient way to chat with your client advisor via your preferred instant messaging app WhatsApp or WeChat. You do not need to download any additional apps.

1. Inform your client advisor that you want to join UBS Advisor Messaging and they will help to onboard you to this service.
2. After you have been onboarded, you will receive a confirmation WhatsApp message from “UBS Wealth Management”. If you cannot find the message, please scan this QR code to open it.

3. Reply to the WhatsApp message to activate the service.
4. Your UBS Advisor Messaging is now ready for use - start chatting.

1. Inform your client advisor that you want to join UBS Advisor Messaging and they will help to onboard you to this service.
2. Once your client advisor confirms that you have been onboarded, open your WeChat scanner, scan this QR code and click “Follow”.

3. Your client advisor will contact you to perform the activation and verification of your account.
4. Your UBS Advisor Messaging is now ready to use - start chatting.

You can only contact your client advisor using UBS Advisor Messaging. However, your client advisor can invite other authorized UBS staff, e.g. the client account manager or service team into the group chat, if necessary.

As WhatsApp and WeChat are third-party services, please ensure you fully understand all potential security risks, such as phishing, malware, account theft, impersonation and operational risks when using them.

To terminate your UBS Advisor Messaging account, please contact your client advisor.

You may place orders in equities, funds, and loans (except for loans where you have a standing instruction in place) on UBS Advisor Messaging. The placement of these orders is subject to our internal pre-trade checks and your confirmation of the orders via UBS Access App.

For WhatsApp users, you can now approve transactions (excluding loans) directly in the chat without UBS Access App.

Inform your client advisor that you want to be onboarded to UBS Advisor Messaging, UBS Digital Banking and activate the UBS Access App.

Review and confirm the order on the UBS Access App within 20 minutes from the time of receipt. If you’re unable to confirm the order within this timeframe, please ask your client advisor to re-send the confirmation request to you.
