"Staying healthy and avoiding injury" will be the biggest challenge facing Mina Guli when she attempts her latest running feat: 100 marathons in 100 days.
The water advocate has been talking about the world-first attempt which is part of her #RunningDry campaign to highlight the global water crisis.
"I'm 47, not built to be an athlete and not naturally inclined to be one either!" Mina told UBS. "Given the extreme nature of what I'm doing, staying healthy in body, mind and soul so I can keep getting out there and telling these stories - that's one of the hardest parts of this and the piece that nobody sees."
Mina has twice previously run 40 marathons in 40 days: in 2016 across seven deserts and in 2017 along six of the world's great rivers.
Her incredible effort is due to start on 1 February –the route is still being finalised but it looks like it will start in Europe and take in North and South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
We wish Mina the best of luck and will be following her progress via #RunningDry.
