Multi-sector How does use of remote-working apps compare with mobility data?

  • During the same period, traffic congestion in major Chinese cities has been increasing.
  • In the US, the download ranking remains high, and foot traffic has recovered only modestly since April.
  • The UK has seen a slight decline in download ranking and a moderate recovery in foot traffic.
  • Germany has also seen a slight decline in download ranking but a greater recovery in foot traffic than elsewhere.
  • In Japan, the download ranking increased significantly in March, but foot traffic declined slowly.
  • In Australia, the download ranking remained relatively low during the height of the pandemic and declined in May; foot traffic to work has risen notably since April.
