US banks' differing exposure to areas with high COVID-19 case counts could indicate their exposure to areas that are reopening.

  • Among large banks, TD Bank has the highest exposure to Covid-19, with 78% of its locations in counties with high infection rates.
  • Capital One, Citi, PNC and Fifth Third also have high exposure, while Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo have relatively low exposure.
