A world-leading business school, IMD, and a world-leading financial institution, UBS Asset Management, have joined forces to tackle one of today's biggest challenges for long-term investors: how to adapt portfolios to a global landscape that will dramatically change over the coming decades. Reputable academic professionals and senior investment experts looked at how long-term investors can incorporate factors such as economies' competitiveness, digitization, innovation as well as sustainability into their investment decisions using actionable investment concepts.
After the success of the inaugural Sovereign Investment Circle, we are pleased that the second edition will again be held in a premier, private setting (40 seats only) at UBS Business University in Singapore, from 25th to 29th March 2019.
The event intends to inspire high-level executives from sovereign institutions, encourage them to think out of the box and provide an environment for discussion and deep dives into the themes that will shape the world and the investment landscape in the future.
For thirty years, the IMD World Competitiveness Center (WCC) has pioneered research on how nations and enterprises compete to lay the foundations for future prosperity. The competitiveness of nations is probably one of the most significant developments in modern management, and IMD intends to remain the leader in this field.
Arturo Bris, Professor of Finance and Director of the WCC will bring his research and teaching capabilities to the Sovereign Investment Circle, using an interactive approach to provide frameworks addressing the key challenges of sovereign funds.
We look forward to welcoming you at the UBS Asset Management Sovereign Investment Circle.
