UBS enhances offering for young clients - exclusive co-operation with iTunes
UBS and iTunes are giving a free song to all Swiss residents
With its enhanced offering for young people and an exclusive co-operation with the new iTunes Music Store in Switzerland, UBS is underscoring the importance that it attaches to young clients. The offering includes free banking services, one-to-one financial advice and additional benefits such as access to the iTunes Music Store and a Euro<26 card.
To coincide with the launch of the iTunes Music Store in Switzerland, UBS is unveiling a new offering that caters specifically for the needs of young clients. The "UBS Generation" package consists of a personal account, a savings account for young people, a Maestro card and e-banking. "UBS Campus" for students includes all of these plus a credit card.
UBS provides its younger clients with one-to-one advice on money matters at key moments in their lives, as when they embark on their studies or graduate. For everyday questions about their finances, young people and students can speak to a dedicated team on hand at every branch. As before, use of the services and cash withdrawals at all ATMs are free of charge. In addition, the accounts offer a preferential rate of interest. UBS Generation and UBS Campus clients automatically receive a Euro<26 card for young people, entitling the holder to a range of benefits such as free entry to more than 400 museums in Switzerland.
Exclusive co-operation with iTunes
As part of its exclusive co-operation with iTunes, UBS is offering song cards for music downloads. These work in a similar way to prepaid telephone cards: they can be used instead of a credit card to purchase tracks from the iTunes Music Store. The song cards are available exclusively to UBS clients. Adults and young people can buy them with KeyClub points or by direct debit from their account.
