UBS today announced that Sabine Keller-Busse will assume the role of Group Head of Human Resources reporting to Group Chief Executive Officer Sergio P. Ermotti. She succeeds John Bradley, who is stepping down for personal family reasons.

Zurich/Basel, 13 June 2014 – Mrs Keller-Busse is currently the Chief Operating Officer of UBS Switzerland and the firm's Retail & Corporate business. She not only brings significant commercial experience to the role, but also a strong understanding of what our businesses need most from Human Resources. The appointment is effective August 1, 2014.

Mrs Keller-Busse is also a proven leader having led large teams to success. In recent years, she played a significant role in the development and execution of the firm's highly effective integrated bank strategy in Switzerland. Her team also managed the implementation of the multi-channel approach adopted by UBS in its home market including its new and award-winning mobile and e-banking applications.

Mrs Keller-Busse joined UBS in her current role four years ago from Credit Suisse where she was responsible for the Swiss private client business in the Zurich region. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at the management consultancy McKinsey & Company working with financial services clients.

Sergio P. Ermotti, UBS Group Chief Executive Officer said, “We value Sabine's strategic mindset as well as her results-oriented and collaborative style. I am confident that she will build on John's success in transforming Human Resources at UBS."

John Bradley joined UBS in late 2009 and transformed Human Resources at the firm. He worked to bring the function closer to its clients while at the same time streamlining service delivery to significantly increase efficiency and effectiveness. He was also a trusted advisor to the Group Executive Board in all Human Resources matters.

Commenting on John Bradley's departure, Sergio Ermotti said: "I want to thank John for his tireless contribution to the firm. He did an excellent job. We will miss John from this important role, but understand and support his decision."
