UBS Global Family Office Services

UBS launched the Global Family Office (GFO) offering globally in 2011 to focus primarily on its top 250 largest institution-like or professional family office prospects and clients, who represent around 2 percent of its total Ultra High Net Worth client base around the world. Staffed by dedicated and experienced relationship managers and specialists from both Wealth Management and Investment Bank, the crossdivisional team works globally to bring the best of UBS's resources to meet the needs of this particularly exacting and sophisticated clientele.

In addition to investment and networking platforms such as the UBS Family Office Summit, UBS also supports proprietary research on the family office sector. The UBS/Campden European Family Office Survey is conducted annually and the results of the second Asian edition of the study were launched in September this year.

The inaugural Wealth-X and UBS Billionaire Census 2013, which was recently released, reveals Asia as the fastest growing region with 18 new billionaires in 2013. The report shows that there are 32 billionaires worth US$92 billion in Australia. GFO is primarily a service targeted at this highly sophisticated group of clients.
