UBS Wealth Management strengthens South Asia business with senior appointment

UBS today announced that it had further strengthened its business in South Asia with the appointment of Vinay GANDHI as Managing Director and Country Team Head India International Asia. Based in Singapore, GANDHI will be responsible for developing and growing the India business. He will report to Andreas REBER, Regional Market Manager of India Indochina and Global Investors APAC.

GANDHI brings with him close to 20 years of experience in the banking industry. He previously held senior leadership positions at JP Morgan Private Bank and Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management where he was responsible for the development and growth of the Non Resident India (NRI) and South Asia wealth management business. Prior to that, he worked in senior roles in Citigroup Private Bank and Commerzbank Private Banking Singapore.

Gandhi's appointment follows on the heels of the recent appointments of: Carlo GRIGIONI, Vice Chairman, Wealth Management & Swiss Bank, as Head of Ultra High Net Worth, Asia Pacific; Daniel HAREL as Head of Ultra High Net Worth, South Asia; YEONG Phick Fui and Kurt KUMSCHICK as Senior Advisors to the Ultra High Net Worth business in the region and Reto MARX, Managing Director, Ultra High Net Worth Country Team Head for South Asia.
