Kambhato appointed Head of Investment Banking for UBS in Thailand
UBS has appointed Phumchai KAMBHATO as Head of Investment Banking in Thailand.
Kambhato joins UBS from Bualuang Securities, the investment-banking subsidiary of Bangkok Bank, where he was head of investment banking and responsible for M&A and equity and debt capital market activity. Previously, Kambhato worked for JP Morgan in Bangkok, Singapore and London, and for Schroders in London.
Kambahto began his new role on 5th April and reports to Peter BURNETT and Robert RANKIN, Co-Heads of Investment Banking in Asia.

Phumchai will raise the profile of our investment banking business and ensure the seamless delivery of all of UBS's products and services to its clients in Thailand," said Burnett.

Kambhato has an M Phil in management studies and an MA in engineering, economics and management from Oxford University.
