Michael Costa and Chris Godvin to Join UBS Investment Bank's Equities Group as Senior Sales Traders
UBS announced today that Michael Costa and Chris Godvin have joined UBS Investment Bank's Equities group as Executive Directors, Sales Trading to focus on marketing the Equities platform to institutions and hedge funds. Costa and Godvin will be based in San Francisco and report to Timothy Gee, Head of US Cash Sales Trading, and will have local reporting responsibility to Matt Koob, Head of the San Francisco office.
Costa was previously a senior Equity Sales Trader at Banc of America Securities. Before joining Banc of America Securities, he worked as a buyside equity trader at Merrill Lynch Defined Asset Funds.
Prior to joining UBS, Godvin was a senior Sales Trader at Bear Stearns in San Francisco. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director of Schwab Soundview Capital Markets and Robertson Stephens.

Costa holds an MBA from Temple University with a focus on finance and a BS in Economics from LaSalle University. Godvin holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.
