Matthew Hickerson Named Global Head of Communications & Marketing for UBS Investment Bank
UBS announced today that Matthew Hickerson has joined the firm as Managing Director and Global Head of Communications & Marketing for UBS Investment Bank. He is based in New York and reports to Robert Wolf, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, UBS Americas and Global Chief Operating Officer of UBS Investment Bank. Hickerson will be responsible for Business Marketing, Branding and Web Services, Employee Communications and Event Marketing for UBS Investment Bank.
"Matt's depth of experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for investment banking products and services will greatly add to our efforts to globally grow the Investment Bank and reach our clients in a meaningful fashion," said Wolf. "His addition underscores UBS's commitment to a globally integrated branding and marketing strategy."
Previously, Hickerson was with Credit Suisse where he was most recently Global Head of Investment Banking Marketing and Advertising, focused on marketing the firm's investment banking and securities capabilities globally. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Hickerson worked in a number of communications roles in government, politics and journalism.
Hickerson earned an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University.
