Aryeh Bourkoff Named Vice Chairman of TMT Investment Banking
UBS announced today that Aryeh Bourkoff has been named Vice Chairman of Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) Investment Banking, effective May 1st. In his role as Vice Chairman of TMT Investment Banking, Bourkoff will leverage his deep relationships in the TMT sector to cover a broad range of companies.
Bourkoff is currently Head of Media and Communications Sector Research within the UBS Equity Research Department.
"We are excited for a sector expert like Aryeh to join our TMT banking team," said Rick Leaman, Joint Global Head of UBS' Investment Banking Department. "His deep experience analyzing this sector for both equity and fixed income markets will bring a unique, investor-oriented perspective to the team."
Bourkoff, 34, will report to Jeff Sine, Global Head of TMT Investment Banking and will continue to be based in New York.

For the past seven years, Bourkoff, who specializes in the Cable & Satellite and Entertainment sectors for both equity and debt securities, has been named the number-one ranked cable & satellite Fixed Income analyst by Institutional Investor. In 2005, Bourkoff was the first analyst to achieve the number-one ranking in his sector for Equity, Fixed Income and Hedge Fund Institutional Investor surveys in the same year. Additionally, Bourkoff was recently named to the Wall Street Journal's annual "Best on The Street" equity analyst rankings for stock picking, receiving the top spot in the "Broadcasting and Entertainment" category.

Prior to joining UBS in 1999, Bourkoff was the senior cable and telecommunications high yield research analyst at CIBC World Markets Corp. Bourkoff holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at San Diego.
