Ian Pereira to join UBS as Joint Global Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions
UBS announced today that Ian Pereira has agreed to join the firm's Investment Banking Division as a Managing Director and Joint Global Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Pereira will be based in San Francisco.
New York, June 9, 2004 -- UBS announced today that Ian Pereira has agreed to join the firm's Investment Banking Division as a Managing Director and Joint Global Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Pereira will be based in San Francisco.
Mr. Pereira will join from Morgan Stanley where he serves as head of Morgan Stanley's Western Region Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Ian has worked with a broad group of clients.

Mr. Pereira graduated from King's College, University of London in 1981 and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1987 whereupon he joined Morgan Stanley.
