UBS Warburg Creates Strategic Advisory Group
UBS Warburg announced today that it has created a Strategic Advisory Group to strengthen its investment banking relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Drawing upon empirical research and leading finance theory, the Strategic Advisory Group will assist corporate clients in evaluating the impact on shareholder value of their financial policy, acquisition strategy and business portfolio composition. Justin Pettit will head the new team as an executive director supporting all U.S. industry sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pettit served as a partner at Sterns Stewart & Co. where he was responsible for advising clients on matters of corporate finance, value based strategy and operations.
