Publication of adjusted figures and timeseries reflecting UBS's new reporting structure
Today, UBS published adjusted figures and timeseries showing historical quarterly and annual results under UBS's new reporting structure.
Wealth Management & Swiss Bank
Commencing first quarter 2010, UBS will amend its reporting of Wealth Management & Swiss Bank and present in its external financial reports two separate business segments: Retail & Corporate and Wealth Management. Wealth Management will encompass the domestic and international wealth management business conducted out of Switzerland, and all wealth management businesses within other UBS booking centers in Asia and Europe. Retail & Corporate will include services provided to Swiss retail private clients, small businesses and corporate and institutional clients.
Global Asset Management
The split of revenue and asset figures into wholesale / institutional clients will be replaced by a split that better reflects the business division's management structure. These figures will be split by lines of business: traditional investments, alternative and quantitative investments, global real estate, infrastructure and fund services.
