Investment Bank Chief Currency Strategist
Mansoor Mohi-uddin is UBS Investment Bank's chief currency strategist, a position he has held since 2002.
In his role Mansoor is responsible for the bank's views on foreign exchange markets, advises the bank's key clients, and leads a global team of 15 analysts. Mansoor has developed strong contacts with central bankers and policymakers around the world, and his work is regularly featured in the Financial Times.
Mansoor was educated at the London School of Economics, from which he holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics (1991) and a Master's degree in Monetary Economics (1992). He worked as an economic adviser in Europe, the Middle East and Africa before joining Swiss Bank Corporation in London in 1998. From 2000 to 2002, Mansoor worked with UBS in Singapore, where he returned in 2010, after a three-year stint in Switzerland.
