UBS ranked 3rd in Lundquist CSR Online Awards Switzerland 2012
The two large banks, UBS and Credit Suisse, together with Nestlé make up the top 3 ranks in the Switzerland edition of the latest Online CSR Awards.
UBS ranked third in the Lundquist CSR Online Awards Switzerland 2012, keeping its top three position for the fourth consecutive year. The award evaluates and honors companies' efforts using digital information channels for the distribution of corporate responsibility information and data. This year's winner, Nestlé, earned a total of 66 points out of 100, followed by Credit Suisse with 63 points and UBS with 57.75 points, the only financial sector firms among the top ten within the Switzerland awards ranking.
The CSR Online Awards have been conducted by the Milan-based communications consultancy Lundquist for the fifth consecutive year. Lundquist's research is divided into five studies: the flagship ranking of the top 100 listed companies in Europe (FTSE Eurotop 100 Index) plus country and regional lists for Germany (top 30), Italy (top 100), Nordic region (top 40) and Switzerland (top 20). In the European ranking UBS improved its position from 25th in 2011 to 17th in 2012.
Websites are assessed using a set of 68 criteria in three categories: Contents, User experience and Ongoing engagement. The criteria were drawn up on the basis of a survey of 400 CSR professionals, sustainability experts and stakeholder representatives from 52 countries.
