Asset Management is a large-scale asset manager with businesses diversified across regions, capabilities and distribution channels. It offers investment capabilities and styles across all major traditional and alternative asset classes including equities, fixed income, currencies, hedge fund, real estate, infrastructure and private equity that can also be combined into multi-asset strategies. The fund services unit provides professional services including fund set-up, accounting and reporting for both traditional investment funds and alternative funds.

Asset Management

Our asset management business offers investment capabilities across all major traditional and alternative asset classes. These include equity, fixed income, currency, hedge fund, real estate, infrastructure and private equity investment capabilities. The Investment Bank provides corporate, institutional, and wealth management clients with expert advice, innovative financial solutions, outstanding execution and comprehensive access to the world’s capital markets. It offers investment banking and capital markets, research, equities, foreign exchange, precious metals and tailored fixed income services in rates and credit through its two business units, Corporate Client Solutions and Securities (Investor Client Services - ICS). The Investment Bank is an active participant in capital markets flow activities, including sales, trading and market-making across a range of securities.

Corporate Client Solutions (CCS) - former IBD

Our Investment Bank's Corporate Client Solutions (CCS) business provides coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing solutions for corporate, financial institutions and sponsor clients.

Coverage & Advisory

As an analyst in a Coverage & Advisory team, you will be part of a business that provides integrated solutions in advisory, equity, debt and leveraged capital markets. You will have the opportunity to be involved in and contribute to providing M&A advice and execution, including spinoffs, takeovers, exchange offers, takeover defense and formation of JVs as well as equity and debt capital raising activities such as IPOs and LBO financings.

Equity Capital Markets

Equity Capital Markets (ECM) bridges the gap between an investment banking role and a sales/trading position by combining the analytical and quantitative nature of a banking role with the fast paced and demanding environment of the trading floor. ECM includes public equity origination (initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and block trades), equity syndication, convertible product origination and execution, equity derivatives, equity private placements and corporate share repurchases. As an analyst in ECM you will work with corporate clients to identify their individual funding needs and determine the appropriate offering structure and execution strategy to maximize the issuer’s objectives across many different criteria including: equity valuation, market risk appetite, accretion / dilution, ratings / equity credit, use of proceeds, flexibility, size, and capitalization. In addition to primary issuance, origination will work with corporate clients and financial sponsors on monetization and exit strategies of their equity positions.

Debt Capital Markets

As an analyst on the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team, you will be part of a business that provides integrated solutions. You will develop your expertise in debt-capital markets including investment grade and emerging market bonds, subordinated debt, hybrid capital and preferred stock as well as related fixed income and cross currency derivative products.

Securities (Investor Client Services - ICS) - Equities, Rates and Credit, Foreign Exchange

Our Investment Bank's Securities (Investment Client Services - ICS) business provides services to professional investors across financial markets. These investors could be asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds or other large pools of professionally-managed capital. Our offering incorporates investment advice and all trading and post-trade services. We're a top-tier global equities house with leading franchises in research, cash equities, derivatives and prime brokerage. We also offer sophisticated structured solutions on our market leading FX and precious metal platforms. Our rates and credit business provides secondary trading capabilities, primary issuance capability and more structured solutions across government and corporate bonds. We are a client-focused business that we believe has adapted well to the new regulatory environment and are ahead of the curve in positioning ourselves to succeed as new models of investment banking emerge.

Securities Sales

As a member of one of the various client-focused sales teams within our securities division, you'll promote products and trading opportunities to clients based on an in-depth understanding of their needs and investment styles. If you're a sales trader, on the other hand, you will be the link between clients and traders, providing our clients with market color and ensuring best-execution for their market orders. In both these roles, you'll aim to maximize investment returns for clients by using the considerable amount of capital markets flow information and investment research at UBS's disposal. As a member of our prime brokerage and clearing division, you'll be working closely with hedge funds and other asset managers to help them with all aspects of running their business and trading strategies.

Securities Trading

As a member of the trading team, you will seek the best prices to execute clients' sales orders and will make markets in listed and over-the-counter equities, equity derivatives and equity-linked securities. Graduate roles within the trading function range from market making through to quantitative and structuring positions.

Securities Research

As a research analyst, you'll analyze the fundamentals of companies and markets and monitor events and developments to alert clients and our sales and trading teams to potential opportunities. Research has a high profile in our business, and you'll develop a strong network due to your interaction with colleagues, analysts and clients as you communicate your views to the market. Roles are primarily focused on a micro-level working in sector teams covering companies but we also have some potential opportunities working in a more macro-oriented framework.

Retail & Corporate delivers comprehensive financial products and services to our retail, corporate and institutional clients in Switzerland and maintains a leading position in these client segments. It constitutes a central building block of our universal bank model in Switzerland, delivering growth to our other businesses. It supports them by cross-selling products and services provided by our asset-gathering and investment banking businesses, by referring clients to them and transferring private clients to Wealth Management when client wealth increases.

Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial services to wealthy private clients around the world - except those served by Wealth Management Americas. Its clients benefit from the entire spectrum of UBS resources, ranging from investment management to estate planning and corporate finance advice, in addition to specific wealth management products and services. An open product platform provides clients with access to a wide array of products from third-party providers that complement our own product lines.

Investment Products & Services (IPS)

As an investment and product specialist you will work closely with client advisors to help develop products and services for clients drawing on the capabilities of the entire firm. IPS includes everything from advisory solution and advisory products to investment management and wealth planning, but also risk management, regulatory and platform management.

Wealth Management Americas provides advice-based solutions through financial advisors who deliver a fully integrated set of products and services specifically designed to address the needs of ultra high net worth and high net worth individuals and families. It includes the domestic US business, the domestic Canadian business and international business booked in the US.

The Corporate Center provides control functions for the business divisions and the Group in such areas as risk control and legal and compliance, as well as finance, which includes treasury services, funding, balance sheet and capital management. Corporate Center – Core Functions provides all logistics and support functions including information technology, human resources, corporate development, Group regulatory relations and strategic initiatives, communications and branding, corporate real estate and administrative services, procurement, physical and information security, offshoring and Group-wide operations. It allocates most of the treasury income, operating expenses and personnel associated with these activities to the businesses based on capital and service consumption levels.

Chief Operating Office

The Corporate Center COO is responsible for the management and performance of the shared services functions, and oversees business and strategic planning. In this business, you'll be involved in key strategic projects that support the group - such as off / near shoring and other initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Business Solution Centers

UBS Business Solution Centers (currently in Nashville, Tennessee and Krakow, Poland) represent a critical element in successfully executing UBS’s global hub strategy. In these centers, we pool expertise to improve service, reduce risk, increase performance, and foster greater collaboration and client focus.

Group Corporate Services (GCS)

Group Corporate Services (GCS) performs a number of functions including the maintenance of all UBS buildings, management of all administrative services, operation of critical hub locations, and oversight of UBS's procurement operations. Your work will be vital to the smooth running of UBS's businesses and will meet the needs of our clients, employees and shareholders.


Finance are the guardians of the firm’s financial resources, managing, reporting and forecasting on all of UBS’s finances - and you'll be part of all that. We also act as consultants using our global business advisory and analytics capabilities to advise the firm’s senior managers.

Group Internal Audit (GIA)

Group Internal Audit is an independent and objective function that systematically assesses governance, risk management and controlling processes. You will be an active member of an audit team, participating in their audits, both in Switzerland and abroad.

Human Resources (HR)

HR works in partnership with the business to recruit, develop, reward and retain the exceptional people needed to support our clients’ continued success. You’ll help foster UBS’s collaborative, respectful and performance-oriented development culture.

Group Technology (IT)
