UBS has come out a leader in a new ranking from Equileap, an up-and-coming gender equality research firm. Their 2018 report, which analyzes the gender diversity data of more than 3,000 large public companies and grades the top 200, ranks UBS 18^th globally, first among Swiss firms, and in the top ten of financial companies.

How did they arrive at their conclusions? The Equileap 2018 Gender Equality Global Report analyzed publicly available information on 19 diversity criteria, including equal compensation and work-life balance, transparency and accountability, company policies, and gender balance. That scorecard was used to rank each company's commitment to gender equality. Equileap's ranking also underlies the Solactive Equileap Global Gender Equality Leaders Index which is used as a benchmark for a variety of investment products targeting gender equal companies.
