While the physical risks of climate change can be more difficult to predict and measure, the transition risks and opportunities to infrastructure investors are becoming clearer and more quantifiable. Entities across the infrastructure investment universe will need to take note of these dynamics and invest in strategies for climate resilience to protect their assets. At the same time, the opportunity set for infrastructure investors is sizeable with infrastructure managers already actively participating in the energy transition, circular economy, clean transportation and in the production of low carbon fuels.
