How do I collect KeyClub points?

You automatically collect KeyClub points on an ongoing basis by using your UBS payment and savings products and your UBS Credit Card. You can also score points via our promotions.

How can I collect points with my UBS Credit Card?

You score points by making purchases using the UBS Credit Cards that you have registered with KeyClub. The number of points you score depends on the type of card you use. When you upgrade your UBS Credit Card, you score up to twice as many points.

Do I receive points automatically if I have a UBS personal account?

No. At least CHF 4,000 per month must be credited during a quarter to the UBS personal account within the Pay and Save basic offering. Further information can be found in our brochure.

How do I collect points with my retirement planning?

When you make payments to your UBS Fisca account, you score points and save taxes at the same time. You receive 10 points per year when you deposit between CHF 3,000 and CHF 5,999 per year to the UBS Fisca account (restricted pension plan 3a); starting at CHF 6,000 you receive 20 points

How and where can I redeem my points?

The KeyClub points you have collected can be redeemed at any KeyClub partner.

The exchange rate is 1 point to 1 Swiss franc.

Where can I find out more about the offers?

The offers and an overview of all UBS KeyClub partners can be found in the UBS magazine, which is published four times per year. It is also available from any UBS branch office or online.

Is KeyClub membership free?

Yes, membership is free of charge and does not entail any obligations, financial or otherwise.

Who can I contact with questions about UBS KeyClub?

Your client advisor is available to answer any questions you may have. You can also contact our hotline on 0800 810 600 from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

How long are point checks valid?

Point checks are valid for one year beyond the end of the calendar year in which the points were collected. The period of validity is written on each point check. After the checks expire, they can  be donated to the UBS Optimus Foundation or redeemed as an interest bonus until March 31 of the following year.

Is there an English version of the UBS magazine?

Yes, the UBS magazine appears in German, English, French and Italian.

I'm a student, and I've signed up for UBS Campus. Am I automatically a KeyClub member?

Yes, free participation in the KeyClub bonus program is a part of the UBS offering for young people and students.

I'm an apprentice and I have to make every franc count, so I'm interested to know more about how I can collect KeyClub points as a UBS Generation client.

You can score points by making regular deposits to your UBS Generation personal account, for example. Points are also awarded for cashless payments with your UBS Maestro Card, or when you shop using your UBS Credit Card. You can also score points via special promotions.

As a family/couple we enjoy the benefits of UBS Family. What can UBS KeyClub offer us?

Each quarter, there are new offers tailored to families in the UBS magazine and online.

I heard that there are special offers for young people and students. My son is doing an apprenticeship and my daughter is at college – where can my children find out more information?

UBS has put together two special packages for young people, including banking services, special services and attractive offers: UBS Generation for young people up to 22 years old, and UBS Campus for students up to 30. You can find all the information and latest offers on the Internet.

Who can become a KeyClub member?

Any UBS client who resides in Switzerland can become a KeyClub member. You can sign up with your client advisor at any UBS branch office or on the Internet.

Q&A UBS KeyClub in e-banking and eStore

How do I activate my online account?

Log in to UBS e-banking and go to the “KeyClub” section.  In most cases, you will immediately be shown a KeyClub participant number and asked to confirm that it is your own in order to activate the account. Answer the question with "yes" and also confirm the electronic agreement on the use of KeyClub in e-banking, which will appear next. You will then see your KeyClub data in e-banking and will be able to define your points settings and start shopping in the KeyClub eStore.

If immediate activation is not possible, you will be given the option of requesting an activation code. Once you have received it, log back in to UBS e-banking, go to the "KeyClub" section and enter it there. You will then be able to access your KeyClub data in UBS e-banking, define your points settings and start shopping in the KeyClub eStore the next time you log in.

My eStore login doesn’t work. What should I do?

Please check your point settings. You have to select a disbursement option of at least 50 percent electronic. Click on the link in the “Redeem points” section to go directly to the KeyClub eStore.

What do the point settings mean?

100 percent physical:

All points will continue to be sent to you as paper checks.
Example: Disbursement of 50 points: 50 points sent by post (physically as a check).

50:50 in favor of physical:

You will receive half of your points as paper checks, and the other half will be credited to your Shop account in the eStore as electronic points. If one half of the points cannot be divided by ten without leaving a remainder, the majority of the points will be sent as paper checks.
Example: Disbursement of 50 points: 30 points by post (physically), 20 points electronically.

50:50 in favor of electronic:

You will receive half of your points as paper checks, and the other half will be credited to your Shop account in the eStore as electronic points. If one half of the points cannot be divided by ten without leaving a remainder, the majority of the points will be transferred electronically.

I have purchased a gift voucher from a partner, but when I try to redeem it in the Partner Shop an error message appears. What should I do?

Call the hotline of the partner in question. When you buy a gift voucher, this establishes a contractual relationship with the partner.

I have created a gift points code from my points but I can’t find it anymore. Where can I find the code again?

Go to the “Gift points code” menu item in the “My account” section. You can find your gift points code here.

I would like to change my delivery address. Is this possible?

Yes, provided that the order has not yet been finalized. To change your delivery address, select the order in question under “Pending orders” and then change the information you want under “Mailing address”.

What are my payment options in the KeyClub eStore?

Alongside electronic KeyClub points, we accept additional payments using Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

Can I also pay by invoice in the KeyClub eStore?

No, it isn’t possible to pay by invoice in the KeyClub eStore.

Data protection: Will the personal data I submit to you be treated confidentially?

We ask for various personal details from you in order to process your order. These data are required in order to deliver the product to you and may also be used for internal statistical purposes so that we get a better feel for your needs in the future. It goes without saying that your data will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be forwarded to third parties.

Where can I find information on general conditions of sale and terms of business?

Detailed and binding information on conditions of sale and terms of business can be found in the general terms and conditions of the partner in question.

Will points continue to be issued on a quarterly basis?

Yes, points will continue to be issued on a quarterly basis. The remainder will be transferred to the eStore account at the same time the points are sent by post.

How long are ePoints valid?

The ePoints are valid for one year (until Dec. 31) following the year in which the points were issued. After this time they cannot be redeemed. The period of validity can be seen in the KeyClub eStore under “My account” – “ePoint balance”.

How long is the gift points code valid?

The gift points code is valid as long as the electronic points that were converted are valid. For this reason, only electronic points with the same expiry date can be converted into a gift points code.

How long is the voucher code valid?

Voucher codes acquired in the eStore are valid for differing amounts of time depending on the partner. You can find more precise information when you click on a relevant product in the Partner Shop.

Can physical points be converted into electronic points?

Yes. It couldn’t be simpler:

Click on www.ubs.com/keyclub and go to the “UBS KeyClub eStore” to download the relevant form, which you can then fill out and send in with your point checks to the address specified.

Please note the following important information:

  • You first need to log in to the UBS KeyClub eStore so that we can credit you with your points.
  • Please only send in valid points for conversion. Points that have expired cannot be processed and will not be returned.
  • It may take up to 14 days before the points are credited to your eStore account.
  • Conversion is free of charge.

Can electronic points be converted into physical points?

Yes. Physical points can be ordered in the KeyClub eStore free of charge. The points will be sent to you by post. It may take up to 14 days before you receive your points.
