Swiss Economic Forum

"Good for business" – we support Swiss companies in their pursuit of sustainable growth according to this motto. We have been involved at the Swiss Economic Forum, the platform for promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Switzerland, since its inception. The forum also serves as a meeting place for more than 1,300 managers from various institutions and leading figures from the worlds of business and politics.

Swiss Economic Award

Switzerland's most prestigious prize for young entrepreneurs is awarded for the following three categories: High-tech/Biotech, Production/Trade & Industry and Services. Together with the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF), we honor young entrepreneurs who stand out thanks to their innovative ideas, interesting concepts and perseverance. All companies that have been operating for no more than six financial years (from their date of founding or management buy-out (MBO)) may apply. The awards ceremony takes place on the second day of the SEF.

"Powerpreneur" is a distinguished and exclusive Swiss CEO network in which we are involved as an exclusive partner. "Powerpreneur" is an initiative of the Swiss Economic Forum and provides a platform for dialogue and exchanges of opinion between successful entrepreneurs. The network's members benefit from up-to-date background information as well access to the latest knowledge and leading figures from the worlds of business, science and politics.

"Growth for SMEs" initiative

The objective of this project as part of the partnership between the Swiss Economic Forum and UBS is to support SMEs during the growth phase. In a multi-stage process, high-growth SMEs and young companies are evaluated. Experts and entrepreneurs conduct an analysis of the current situation with the management and draw up specific plans of action in the areas of strategy, innovation and financing. UBS supports the selected companies by providing flexible financing; if additional capital is required, we establish contact with private and other investors who want to make a commitment to the Swiss economy.
