Process for investment properties

UBS Atrium is a way of finding out about investment opportunities and bidding for them directly online. Online access is simple and uncomplicated directly through e-banking, and the bidding procedure follows a clearly structured process:

  1. Investors are notified by SMS or e-mail that a new financing request is online
  2. Interested investors examine the financing request and can submit an online offer
  3. The borrower then considers the offers and decides whether to accept one
  4. The auction results are communicated to investors by SMS or e-mail
  5. Once an offer has been accepted, UBS coordinates the drafting and signing of the contract and payment of the mortgage

Process for owner-occupied residential property

UBS offers a mandate-type solution for brokering mortgages on owner-occupied residential property. Our platform offering allows you to set up online investment profiles with corresponding pricing tables. UBS then brokers mortgages for you that match your investment requirements.

  1. Enter and edit investment profiles and pricing tables that reflect your own investment requirements
  2. UBS reviews the financing applications and performs the credit check
  3. UBS compares the financing parameters with the active investment profiles; if there is a match, an offer is issued using the pricing tables that have been entered
  4. The borrower then considers the offers and decides whether to accept one
  5. Ongoing display of mortgages offered and completed directly in e-banking
  6. Once an offer has been accepted, UBS coordinates the drafting and signing of the contract and payment of the mortgage with no additional work for the investor

UBS Atrium's investment opportunities are transparent and attractive – and so are the costs. You pay a transaction-related fee for every financing completed plus a quarterly servicing charge. These cover our expenses for managing and monitoring the loan.
