Investment philosophy

We strive to deliver consistent returns over time and provide diversity within investors’ portfolios. We structure our portfolios around our belief that fixed income returns move in line with fundamentals over time. Specifically,

  • For interest rates, medium-term returns reflect investors' real return requirements and inflation expectations;
  • For sector allocations, medium-term returns reflect the underlying fundamentals and risks of lending to different asset classes within the fixed income universe;
  • For corporate credit, medium-term returns reflect a firm's capacity to meet its obligations over time.

Investment objective

The Fund aims to provide investors with a total return (after management costs) in excess of the Bloomberg AusBond Composite 0+Yr Index (Benchmark) when measured over rolling three year periods.

Investor suitability

The Fund is best suited to investors who seek a diversified portfolio of investment grade fixed income and cash equivalent assets.
