Simple. Intuitive. Secure.
UBS can help you simplify your financial life. When you combine your investment, cash management and financing activities in one place, you can manage all of your assets with greater efficiency and control. Whether your finances are organized in a single account or multiple accounts, your relationship with UBS is designed to give you financial flexibility.
Open a UBS Resource Management Account (RMA)—as many as you like—and organize them in the way that makes sense for you, all for one primary annual account fee of $150.1 Use one account for day-to-day transactions, another for long-term investments and a third for savings. It's entirely up to you. Above all, you'll have access to the advice and guidance of a UBS Financial Advisor who knows you and understands your overall financial picture.
You can get cash at banks and ATMs worldwide without finance charges or transaction fees using your UBS Visa Signature credit card2 or UBS Visa debit card and receive an unlimited number of ATM fee rebates in the U.S. (up to $3 per transaction). You can also take advantage of unlimited checkwriting3 and our convenient bill pay service. Set up one-time or recurring online bill payments from your RMA or Business Service Account BSA, for any of your monthly or daily expenses.
Transfer funds easily and securely to and from other UBS accounts or financial institutions via Electronic Funds Transfer Service (EFT) or use Federal Funds Transfers4 for fast, secure distributions of larger sums of money.
You have several convenient options available: electronically via EFT or federal funds transfer by mail or in person at a UBS branch. Set up qualifying direct deposits now and your RMA annual fee will be waived.5 Even better, direct deposit saves time because you won't have to wait for the checks to clear and you won't have to worry about your checks getting lost or stolen, especially payroll checks, Social Security payments and other U.S. government checks.
1Once you pay the annual account fee of $150 (waived with a qualifying direct deposits) for your first billable RMA or Business Services Account BSA® (Sole Proprietorship), we will waive the annual account fees (the annual service fees) for an unlimited number of additional RMAs and Business Services Accounts BSAs (Sole Proprietorships), as long as the accounts are held within the same Marketing Relationship at UBS. We reserve the right to change or discontinue automatic annual service fee waivers at any time.
We may charge your Marketing Relationship a maintenance fee (even if the annual service fees for your accounts have been waived for that calendar year). The Maintenance Fee is charged if your Marketing Relationship does not meet a minimum of $75,000 in month-end average eligible assets up until November month-end, or $75,000 in eligible assets on the last business day in November. The average of eligible assets is calculated by taking the sum of the account’s month-end eligible assets for the year divided by the number of months this account was open in the billing cycle.
2When you use your credit card to access cash, there must be sufficient funds in your UBS account to repay the cash advance that night or you will incur applicable cash advance fees and interest charges. The automatic transfers used to pay off your CashConnect cash advances will reduce the available funds in your UBS account, and, as a result, could affect other transactions dependent on cash, such as fee payment, investment purchases, online bill pay, debit card usage and outstanding checks. Please make sure that you have sufficient available funds in your UBS account to cover these items, as well as the CashConnect cash advance. This feature is available only for cardholders with a UBS account.
3Please note: If you have a Business Services Account BSA, UBS Financial Services Inc. reserves the right to charge a fee for excessive checkwriting.
4You receive three free U.S. dollar outgoing wire transfers per calendar year per Marketing Relationship with a billable RMA, Business Services Account BSA (Sole Proprietorships) or IRA RMA.
5Qualifying direct deposits (e.g., payroll, Social Security payments, pension payments, insurance and annuity distributions) are defined as having direct deposits totaling at least $1,000 per month for the two consecutive month period immediately prior to the annual billing date.
The RMA, Business Services Account BSA and IRMA are brokerage accounts with UBS Financial Services Inc., a registered broker-dealer and a Member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), which protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash).
