Set up your preferences

Email and text notification

You choose how you receive notifications. You can subscribe to email or SMS messages by setting preferences in Settings.

Alternatively, all notifications can also be viewed by clicking on the red icon in the top right of your e-banking.

If you wish to be informed about new research articles you can specify your preferences in Investment Views.

You can change your preferences at any time. Simply go back to Settings or Investment Views to amend.

Portfolio grouping

Instead of always having one view of all investments, portfolio grouping allows you to tailor what you see, making it easier for example to view POA or joint accounts together.

To create your own portfolio groups follow the below steps:

1. Select the settings icon on the top right hand side of the screen.

2. Navigate to "Portfolio Groups"

3. Select the "New" button to initiate a new group.

4. Give your group a name

5. Set a reference currency that will be used as a default currency when showing the assets in this group.

6. Set the status. You can use this while you're setting up a group or if you want to temporarily pause the use of an existing group.

  • Active: This group will be visible and selectable on the asset screens
  • Inactive This group will not be visible or selectable on the asset screens

7. Define the visibility of this group

  • Private: This group will appear to you only
  • Shared: This group will appear to all e-banking users everyone who can see all underlying portfolios

8. Select the relevant portfolios for the group

9. Save your new group.

Your group will now be displayed on the asset view screens at the end of the investment selector and in the tab "Portfolio groups".

Notification settings

1.1. Trading settings

The following fields can be used to define default values for your orders:

  1. Order type – defines the default order type for your orders.
  2. Valid until date – defines the valid until date that will be pre-populated when placing an order.
  3. Order Overview default – defines the selected tab that will be displayed on opening the screen.

1.2. Notification settings

The "Notifications" tab is where client contact details are stored. It is important these are kept up to date.

Note on trading notifications: All trading notification options are turned off by default. You can select to be notified by Email or SMS message or both on the trades you have entered or you have been appointed as an approver. You can also choose to be notified by long messages or shorter, more smartphone friendly messages.
