Art Basel stages the world’s premier contemporary art shows, held annually in Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. It is globally acclaimed for showing work of the highest merit, and for attracting the world’s leading gallerists and collectors. As Art Basel’s Global Lead Partner, UBS will support its upcoming Hong Kong show.

Art Basel in Hong Kong assumes a significant role in the international art world, featuring 245 premier galleries from around the world. The show gives galleries a platform in Asia to demonstrate the way they work with artists, and bring their best work to Hong Kong.

The event opens at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on 14 May with the vernissage, and will be opened for daily viewing till 18 May. Industry experts will be at the UBS lounge to offer their insights on the world of art, and what to look forward to from the fair’s exhibitors.

Peers recognize UBS as ‘Best Private Bank Globally’

The most prestigious rankings in the Wealth Management industry, the Euromoney survey is based on over 2,000 votes from more than 470 financial institutions worldwide. Together, they represent USD14.4 trillion in assets under management. The awards underline UBS’s position as the industry’s leading wealth manager, with the Chief Investment Office providing strategic investment views that help to drive growth. “The industry is moving to a model of investment management for private wealth and away from just collecting funds,” says Jürg Zeltner, Chief Executive Officer of UBS Wealth Management.
