Working in the best interests of clients lies at the heart of our proposition to Intermediaries. We have a well-established infrastructure and offer a flexible service to those who wish to retain a strong bond with their clients but choose to delegate the responsibility of managing all or some of these assets to another professional. For example:
Asset managers who would like to concentrate on particular strategies and offer their clients a wider range of asset management options.
Established asset managers who wish to redefine their priorities and devote more time to client relationship management, client acquisition or other activities.
Asset managers seeking ways of building their business models as efficiently and robustly as possible with a view to future regulatory requirements.
Our aim is to partner with you so that you achieve the best for your clients and your business. Discretionary or advisory, the advice and management of your clients' assets are conducted in accordance with the requirements, objectives and risk tolerances that are discussed and agreed between you, your client and UBS prior to commencement of the mandate. The mandate is then executed between the client and UBS, effectively delegating the asset management role to us.
We also offer a business to business service for those intermediaries that choose to directly manage investments on behalf of their clients but require access to safe custody, brokerage and sophisticated support services.
