Overview

UBS fully complies with the SWX Swiss Exchange's (SWX) regulatory requirement and also meets the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) corporate governance standards. UBS operates under a strict dual board structure, as mandated by Swiss banking law.

The BoD is the most senior corporate body with ultimate responsibility for the strategy and the management of the company and for the appointment and supervision of its executive management.

 

The GEB has executive management responsibility for the Group and is accountable to the Board for the firm’s results.

 

The members of the GMB are drawn from the management teams of the Business Groups and the Corporate Center or assume special Group functions. Global Business Group Vice Chairmen are appointed to support the business in their relationships with key clients.
