David joined group of UBS (SBC) in 1991 in the Debt Capital Markets (DCM). In 2000, he was appointed head of the DCM Financial Institutions Group, EMEA and in 2004 to head all investment grade DCM business in Europe.

David moved to IBD in 2006 to become Head of the Financial Institutions Group in EMEA, where his responsibilities were expanded in 2007 to include the fixed income businesses of DCM and Structured Sales for FIG clients in EMEA.

In 2008, David was appointed head of the Global Capital Markets (GCM) team for EMEA, spanning Equity and Debt Capital Markets. He was appointed Deputy Head of GCM in 2009 and Global Head of GCM in March 2011 also joining the Investment Bank Executive Committee.

In October 2012 David was appointed to head the newly formed Corporate Client Solutions business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

David graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University in 1991.
