UBS put down roots in the Middle East more than 40 years ago, and today we have over 200 staff dedicated to the region.

UBS has been working in the Middle East since 1964, when we opened our first representative office in Beirut. Following this we set up four additional representative offices covering Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Cairo.

In addition we have been a founding member of the DIFX Dubai International Financial Exchange in 2005. To strenghten our commitment to the region we opened in 2006 a new branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
