As one of the most important events in French-speaking Switzerland, this athletics meet, which is steeped in tradition, attracts elite athletes from all over the world every year. Time after time they respond to the amazing atmosphere and enthusiastic support in the Pontaise Stadium with world-class performances and records. UBS has been a main sponsor of Athletissima Lausanne since 1982.

Two days before the meet there will be training sessions for children and young people at four different locations in French-speaking Switzerland. The young participants will have a unique opportunity to train with the world's best athletes and enjoy the benefit of their tips and advice. The unforgettable training sessions will be rounded off with the chance to get the stars' highly prized autographs.
