The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the orchestra in residence at the KKL Lucerne and thus a permanent, well-established fixture in the cultural life of central Switzerland.As the oldest symphony orchestra in Switzerland, the LSO has gained international recognition far beyond its native Lucerne. This is also reflected in the choice of conductors and soloists and the well-chosen program, giving concert visitors the chance of experiencing international stars from close range. In addition to numerous international tours and concert tours, the orchestra also produces its own CD recordings and commissions compositions.
