UBS announced today that William Kennedy, currently Head of IPS Global Capital Markets, will take over as Head of the entire Investment Products and Services unit as of March 1.

During his 18-year career at UBS, William Kennedy held a number of managerial positions in the Investment Bank, most recently as Head of European Equities, before joining UBS Wealth Management and the IPS leadership in March 2010.

As IPS emerges from the phase of build-up and consolidation to become fully operational, the current Head of IPS Andreas Amschwand has decided to step down and pursue other interests.

IPS was established in 2010 as an integrated, cross-divisional products and services entity. Its creation underpins UBS's focus on sustainable investment performance for its clients.
