UBS raises interest rates for Time Deposit Accounts and Medium-Term Bonds as well as retirement accounts
UBS is increasing interest rates for UBS Time Deposit Accounts and Medium-Term-Bonds as well as for its retirement savings accounts.
For UBS Time Deposit Accounts and Medium-Term Bonds the changes will come into effect on 15 April 2008.
As of Tuesday, 15 April 2008 the following interest rates shall apply:

5 years | 2.875% | +0.250% | |
6 years | 2.875% | +0.125% | |
7 years | 3.000% | +0.125% | |
8 years | 3.000% | +0.125% | |
9 years | 3.125% | +0.125% | Only valid for Time Deposit Accounts |
10 years | 3.125% | +0.125% | Only valid for Time Deposit Accounts |
For the retirement savings accounts UBS Fisca account (pillar 3a) and UBS unrestricted retirement account 3b the changes will come into effect on 1 May 2008.
Starting 1 May 2008, the following interest rates will apply:
