UBS is launching the UBS MasterCard UEFA EURO 2008™ on 1 March 2007. The grass-colored football-themed credit card will be offered with no annual fee in the first year as part of an introductory offer through 15 April 2007. After that it will be available for CHF 50 in the first year instead of the regular CHF 100. Football fans can also order the UBS MasterCard UEFA EURO 2008™ as a second or partner card. These additional cards will be issued free of charge during the introductory period through mid-April 2007 and cost just CHF 25 per year thereafter.

The other terms and conditions of the UBS MasterCard UEFA EURO 2008™ are the same as those of the UBS MasterCard Standard.

Welcome package with fan merchandise

Along with the grass-colored credit card, football fans will receive a welcome package containing fan merchandise. This includes a shoulder bag, ten national flags, a lanyard for your keys and cell phone and a bath towel with a football pitch design. Cardholders have access to online games and information on all aspects of this major event via the UBS UEFA EURO 2008™ online portal.

UBS is a National Supporter of UEFA EURO 2008™ and the title sponsor of Arenas in Switzerland. The UBS Arenas are UBS-sponsored public viewing areas that will show the matches live on a giant screen. They will be set up for UEFA EURO 2008™ in a number of cities across Switzerland.
