UBS lowers interest rates
UBS is lowering interest rates on savings accounts, the UBS Fisca account and UBS vested benefits account as well as the UBS savings account in euro and the UBS personal account in euro. The changes will come into effect on 1 August 2005.
UBS is lowering the interest rates it pays on deposits in response to the further decline in domestic long and short-term rates. The trend towards lower interest rates continues at a steady pace, reflecting muted economic forecasts and the limited risk of inflation in Switzerland and Europe.
