UBS appoints Weng as Head of Active Quantitative Equities
UBS Global Asset Management announced today that William Weng is joining its Structured Equities team as Head of Active Quantitative Equities, effective 14th April 2008.
Weng will focus on building the Active Quantitative Equities offering by launching active long only, 130/30 and market neutral quantitative equity strategies.
With over nine years of investment industry experience, Weng joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management where he was head of the Quantitative Equities Group that developed, managed and marketed quantitative active equity strategies.
Weng will be based in New York and will report to Art Gresh, Head of Structured Equities, based in London.
