UBS Investment Bank engages Neal H. Pilson as senior advisor to firm's Sports Finance Group

New York, January 8, 2004 -- UBS announced today that Neal H. Pilson has been engaged by the firm's Investment Bank as a senior advisor to the firm's Sports Finance Group. Mr. Pilson is based in Chappaqua, NY and his activities for UBS will be directed by Jeffrey Sine, Vice Chairman & Global Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications.

Mr. Pilson will work with Andrew R. Sriubas, Managing Director, and will be responsible for helping to build the firm's Sports Finance Group, which was formed in 2003 to assist sport leagues, owners and teams with financing and strategic opportunities. Each of UBS's divisions will benefit from Mr. Pilson's expertise as the world of sports encompasses not only corporate entities but individuals and government organizations as well.

Mr. Pilson, a senior industry executive and former president of CBS Sports, formed his own sports television consulting company, Pilson Communications, Inc. in 1995. PCI is active in all areas of sports television, media and marketing and provides representation, negotiation and packaging services for U.S. and international companies and organizations.
