UBS Hydrates Stamford Citizens
Smart Tap Launches Three Pilot Filling Stations in Connecticut
August 2013. UBS is doing its part to improve the health of Stamford residents and the environment. In partnership with Smart Tap, a company that provides water bottle-filling stations with drinking fountains to cities free of charge, UBS will be sponsoring three water bottle-filling stations downtown as part of a pilot program. The first Smart Tap filling station will be installed in Columbus Park on August 7, 2013, with two more still to come in Latham Park and outside the Ferguson Library. Read more

Driving sustainable performance is both a marathon and sprint

At the Financial Times’ (FT) “Investing in a Sustainable Future” conference in New York, UBS’s industry leading expertise in sustainable performance was on display as Erika Karp and Mark Sloss were among lead panelists discussing how to measure and reward sustainable performance. Topics included the downside of rewarding short-term performance in the financial sector and executive pay linked to financial markets performance, and why the fastest-growing data pages on Bloomberg terminals these days are the CSR pages. UBS Community Affairs Americas: UBS 9/11 Humaritarian Relief Fund Grants
The UBS 9/11 Humaritarian Relief Fund has, to date, provided grants of close to $6 million to aid recovery from the terror attacks on the United States. In the months and years following the September 11th tragedy, UBS has allocated the Humaritarian Relief Fund for projects aimed at addressing the emerging needs of the community.
